Thompson Steel to Implement AXIOM® in California Service Center

Thompson Steel Company, Inc. is extending its use of the AXIOM® Enterprise Resource Management System to Arrow Thompson Metals - a subsidiary company located in North Hollywood, California. Arrow Thompson Metals is a steel service center that performs slitting, roller leveling, shearing, circle shearing and edge rolling operations. AXIOM/mx Open will replace multiple aging legacy systems and is targeted for go-live in early fall.

Thompson Steel has used AXIOM since 1998, and currently uses AXIOM/mx Open at the company’s headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts as well as steel processing facilities in Franklin Park, Illinois and Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Thompson Steel Company produces high quality strip steel, as well as hardened and tempered steel for customers in the automotive, industrial products and tools industries.
